New car | Xiaopeng P7+ officially starts pre-sale

On October 14, the 2024 Paris Motor Show officially opened, and the Xiaopeng P7 (picture) + was unveiled and its pre-sale price in the domestic and European markets was officially announced. As a new model launched by Xiaopeng, the Xiaopeng P7+ will adopt the AI eagle-eye vision intelligent driving solution.

In terms of appearance, the Xiaopeng P7+ continues the family-style “Robot Face” front face design, and adds vents on both sides of the headlights. The visual center of the car side is forward, equipped with a new taillight group, and the rear spoiler is integrated into the entire tail design, presenting a double-layer visual effect. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the Xiaopeng P7+ are 5056/1937/1512 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3000 mm. In addition, the Xiaopeng P7+ will provide 5 car paint colors, including Yunbei Mi, Star Dusk Purple, Yaoye Black, Nebula White, and Crescent Silver.

Officials said that the Xiaopeng P7+ will be equipped with AI Eagle Eye Vision Intelligent Driving Solution as standard, with a total of 11 cameras, 3 millimeter-wave radars and 12 ultrasonic radars, as well as 2 NVIDIA Orin-X intelligent driving chips with a computing power of 508TOPS. Officials said that the visual perception distance of the car is 125% higher than that of the previous generation, and it can recognize 49 types of obstacles, traffic lights, road signs and text, etc., and can also activate XNGP at zero speed and on the spot.

The Xiaopeng P7+ has an enveloping cockpit layout, equipped with a 15.6-inch floating central control screen and a 10.25-inch floating full LCD instrument, equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P cockpit chip, the car machine provides a self-developed X-GPT Lingxi large model, and is the first to be equipped with AI Dimensity XOS 5.4.0. In addition, the car is also equipped with a new double-spoke steering wheel and a 9-inch streaming media rearview mirror, and the auxiliary instrument panel area provides two 50-watt mobile phone wireless charging panels.

The seats in the Xiaopeng P7+ are covered with Nappa perforated leather. All seats in the car support heating, ventilation and massage functions. The rear seats are equipped with 10-degree stepless electric adjustment as standard. The rear seats of the car also provide a small table and an 8-inch entertainment control screen. In addition, the car is also equipped with a panoramic skylight, ambient lighting, a 20-speaker audio system, and 7.1.4 panoramic surround sound.

All the models of the upcoming Xiaopeng P7+ are driven by a single motor, providing two motors with maximum power of 180 kW and 230 kW, and a maximum speed of 200 km/h. The two power models will be equipped with 60.7 kWh and 76.3 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery packs respectively. With different specifications of tires, the low-power model has a WLTC operating range of 602 kilometers (18-inch rims) and 575 kilometers (20-inch rims), and the high-power model has a WLTC operating range of 710 kilometers (18-inch rims) and 685 kilometers (20-inch rims).
