On October 9, Geely Auto officially announced that Geely Xingyuan was officially launched on the market. Geely Xingyuan offers 7 exterior paint options and is positioned as a pure electric compact sedan. It has CLTC pure electric ranges of 310 kilometers and 410 kilometers.
In terms of design, Geely Xingyuan adopts a relatively rounded shape, with a relatively smooth body surface, semi-hidden door handles, and a front shape with a “smile” as the design concept. In terms of specific configuration, Geely Xingyuan 310km Youth Edition (entry-level model) comes standard with 15-inch steel rims, rear parking radar, reversing image, halogen headlights and other configurations.
Geely Star Wish mid-range and high-end models are equipped with 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights, electric heated exterior mirrors, etc. The top-end model (Star Wish UP 410km Exploration+ Edition) is equipped with an electric tailgate. The new car is available in 7 exterior paints: vanilla rice, basil green, ice berry pink, milk cap white, mousse silver, truffle gray, and sea salt blue.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of Geely Xingyuan are 4135/1805/1570 mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2650 mm. It has a 5-seat layout inside the car and is positioned as an electric compact car. Models of the same level may include BYD Dolphin, Ora Good Cat, etc.
In terms of interior, Geely Xingyuan adopts a symmetrical cockpit layout style, providing an 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel, a 14.6-inch central touch screen (1920×1080 pixel resolution, 60 Hz refresh rate), a flat-bottomed double-spoke multi-function steering wheel, etc. The center console passenger position and door lining are decorated with city building graphics.
The Star Wish 310km Youth Edition (entry-level model) is equipped with front passenger/front side airbags, active brakes, leather multi-function steering wheel, 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel, 10.1-inch central touch screen (Galaxy Flyme Auto car system), mobile phone interconnection mapping, imitation leather seats (manual adjustment of the front passenger), automatic air conditioning, mobile phone App remote control, 4 speakers, Wi-Fi hotspot, etc. On this basis, the Star Wish 310km Dream Edition is mainly upgraded/added with 16-inch aluminum alloy rims, cruise control, 14.6-inch central touch screen, rear USB charging port, automatic LED headlights, electric heated exterior mirrors, etc.
The basic configuration of the Star Wish 410km Freedom Edition is basically the same as the 310km Youth Edition. Compared with the 410km Freedom Edition, the pre-sale price of the Star Wish UP 410km Exploration Edition is 6,000 yuan higher, and the configuration is mainly upgraded/added 16-inch aluminum alloy rims, cruise control, 14.6-inch central touch screen, electric adjustment of the driver’s seat, heated front seats, rear USB charging port, automatic LED headlights, heated exterior mirrors, etc.
Compared with the Exploration Edition, the Star Wish UP 410km Exploration+ Edition has major upgrades/additions in terms of side airbags, 360-degree panoramic images + transparent images, mobile phone wireless charging, 256-color ambient lights, rear air-conditioning vents, 6-speaker audio, etc.
The Geely Xingyuan rear seat backrest has a 117-degree inclination angle and is equipped with rear air-conditioning vents. The trunk has a basic volume of 375 liters, and the rear seats can be folded down in a 4/6 ratio, and the trunk can be expanded to 1,320 liters.
In terms of power, Geely Xingyuan provides two power motors. The maximum power of the 310km model is 58 kW and the peak torque is 130 Nm; the maximum power of the 410km model is 85 kW and the peak torque is 150 Nm. Geely Xingyuan is equipped with lithium iron phosphate battery packs supplied by CATL, which have two capacity versions of 30.12 kWh and 40.16 kWh, corresponding to CLTC pure electric range of 310 km and 410 km. The new car is equipped with slow charging and fast charging as standard, supporting a maximum charging rate of 1.66C. The charging time of 30%-80% in the fast charging mode of the 310km and 410km versions is 22.8 minutes and 24 minutes respectively, supporting 3.3 kW external discharge function.
