New car features:
In terms of appearance design, the IM L6 adopts a design language similar to that of its “fellow brother” IM LS6. The front face is also a closed shape common on pure electric vehicles, and is designed with a long and narrow headlight group and a C-shaped air guide. There is also a small front shovel at the bottom of the front enclosure.
In terms of body color, IM L6 currently offers 7 colors: Athena White, Ares Black, Raphael Tea, Ferdinand Pink, Sisley Yellow, Rembrandt Gray and Nevis Blue. Among them, Nevis Blue is the latest collaboration limited color.
The overall vehicle shape of the IM L6 adopts a fastback design similar to the IM L7. The side profile of the car is also relatively smooth, with basically no edges and corners, and a hidden door handle is used. The new car provides two sizes of rims, 19-inch and 20-inch, depending on the configuration. The shape also provides two styles, and is equipped with red brake calipers.
In terms of body size, although the IM L6 is positioned as a mid-to-large sedan like the IM L7, it is slightly smaller than the latter. The length, width and height of the IM L6 are 4931/1960/1474 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2950 mm. We also listed the body data of XIAOMI SU7 and ZEEKR 001, and we can see that the IM L6 is indeed the smallest among these four models.
The rear part of the IM L6 is equipped with through-type taillights, a black trim panel on the rear surround and vertically arranged fog lights, echoing the style of the air guide groove on the front face. The taillights also continue the LED screen that appeared on the IM LS6, which can use patterns and other elements to simply interact with the cars behind or pedestrians behind the car. The car is also equipped with a hatchback tailgate with a maximum opening angle of 69 degrees.
In terms of interior, the design style of the IM L6 center console is similar to that of the LS6, and it is still equipped with a through-type liftable center control screen. The sub-dashboard is equipped with the same LCD touch screen as the LS6. There is also a storage slot for mobile phones under the screen. It is also equipped with a wireless charging function for mobile phones, with a charging power of up to 50 watts and a ventilation and cooling function.
The seats of the new car are wrapped in leather, and there are magnetic points behind the front seats, which can be equipped with expansion hardware such as makeup mirrors and reading lights. The car’s audio system comes standard with 20 speakers, has 4 overhead speakers and a subwoofer, supports a 7.1.4 multi-channel audio system, and has a cabin active noise reduction function.
In terms of assisted driving, Zhiji L6 also adopts a solution equipped with a lidar (standard for all series), and is equipped with NVIDIA Orin X chip as standard for all series, which can realize ACC adaptive cruise, lane centering, and city navigation (NOA). High-end driver assistance functions are included.
All IM L6 series are equipped with a Skink digital chassis as standard, which coordinates and jointly controls chassis hardware such as rear-wheel steering, intelligent electronically controlled shock absorbers, air suspension, and electric drive systems to achieve six freedoms in the three directions of X, Y, and Z. It has a degree of coordinated control of body posture, and can perform functions such as “crab walking” through the deflection of the four wheels in the same direction, and the deflection of the front and rear wheels to achieve lateral translation and in-situ U-turns.
At present, the official has not announced the specific power parameters of the IM L6. Referring to the previously exposed new car application information, the car will be launched in two power modes: single motor rear drive and dual motor four-wheel drive. The two-wheel drive model currently has 3 power versions declared, the largest The powers are 216 kW, 248 kW and 300 kW respectively. The maximum power of the front and rear drive motors of the four-wheel drive model is 200 kW and 379 kW respectively. According to IM officials, the car’s fastest acceleration time from 0-100 km/h is 2.74 seconds, and its top speed can reach 308 km/h.
